The Little Mermaid has Landed at Camillus Middle School

POSTED ON OCTOBER 30, 2016

Join us "Under the Sea" where everything is better! Camillus Middle School is proud to present this year's musical, The Little Mermaid, adapted from the classic Disney movie. This version holds the honor of being one of Disney's few staged Broadway musicals.

The amazing music and lyrics are brought to life from the animation and staged in a new way. The story focuses around Ariel (Abigail Ray) the mermaid who dreams of being part of the human race. Flounder (Laura Alvaro) the fish and Scuttle (Zachary Barstow) the seagull help Ariel through her journey. King Triton (Virgil Dombroski II) the Sea King and Sebastian (Jairus Killings) the crab insists that she remain Under the Sea where she belongs. Ursula(Eleanor Moran) the Sea Witch and her Eels Flotsam (Kassidy Meaker) and Jetsam (Sofia Magnante) do their best to trap Ariel in an inescapable contract. Ariel must kiss Prince Eric (Grant Mathews) before the sun sets on the third day. Grimsby (Aidan Sperduti) the royal steward and Chef Louiƛ (Cooper Ponto) do their best to help the Prince find a bride before his 21st birthday. A terrific ensemble cast fills out the rest of the land and sea to bring this classic story to life on the stage.

Please join us on Friday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. to see this terrific cast. Kristyn Sperduti directs and choreographs, Don Schuessler music directs and produces, Cindy Kissane costumes, and Jeff Bowe Paints/Builds the Set.

Tickets are $8 general admission at the door. Doors will open one hour prior to each show.
