Earning second place at the club contest were Katherine Baldwin from the high school and Joseph McManus from WGMS. They will be alternates for the contest.

Also competing were Christina (Chrissy) Van Allen, Janaya Jones and Kevin McDermott  from CMS; Joshua Varkey, Adrianna Mondello and Madison Gilbert from WGMS; and Helene (Leni) Ferner and Emily Schlenker from the high school.

English teacher Ellen Miller coordinated the competitors and coached the sixth grade student from CMS; Kerry Uy and Susan Marshall were the coaches from WGMS; and Suzanne Ostrander coordinated the students from the high school.
