There will be a meeting for the parents of all athletes in the junior varsity and varsity Fall programs on Thursday, August 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school lower gymnasium. The West Genesee "Wildcat" Marching Band 2008 Preview performance will be held on Friday, August 22 at 8:30 p.m. at the turf stadium at the high school. The band will perform the 2008 competitive program entitled "Hemisphereon," featuring musical selection "With Heart and Voice" by composer Mark Camphouse. There will be a regular meeting of the Board of Education on Wednesday, August 20 starting at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. The agenda is now available in the Board of Education Meeting Agenda section of this web site. The West Genesee Board of Education accepted the resignation of Board member Jeffrey Fusco at its regular meeting on August 6. Mr. Fusco is leaving the board to pursue his graduate studies outside the area, and his resignation is effective August 7.
