Academic All-American Athletes from West Genesee   

Ten West Genesee High School athletes qualified for the Academic All-American honor. Nine were from the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) for: Peter Bowman, Emily Cox, Jesse Elmer, Matthew Hotaling, Gabrielle Shuron, Evan Tuthill, Grace Van Hoven, Zachary Walker, and Cassandra Wetmore. Also, West Genesee Boys Lacrosse player Luis (Manny) Castro was named an Academic All-American.

To receive this honor, students must meet the following qualifications: A minimum GPA of 3.750 on a 4 point scale, or 93.7500% of the grade scale your school uses for 7 semesters (non-weighted). GPA may not be rounded up; and be a graduating senior. 

Congratulations on this great accomplishment!

Kindergarten Screening Information

If you have registered your student for Kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year, you will be receiving a letter to remind you of your screening date and time. 

All Kindergarten screening will be done this year at your home school. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Registrar's office at 315-487-4683.

Beginning on Monday, June 26 through August 30, summer office hours for the Registrar's office will be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  

When scheduling for an appointment to register a student, you will be able to do so on our website with times available from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Click here for more information.

Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2017 is Tomorrow  

Graduation is the highlight of the entire school year.  The Class of 2017 has achieved amazing accomplishments in all areas; academics, athletics, plus the visual and performing arts.  Graduation will be held at the Onondaga Community College SRC Arena on Saturday, June 17 at 1:00 p.m.

West Genesee Athletic Community Receives Sportsmanship Promotion Award

On June 15, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) announced West Genesee High School (Section III) as a 2016-2017 winners of its Sportsmanship Promotion program.
