Students and Staff are Generous to the Community

West Genesee Music Students Selected to Perform at All-County Concerts

West Genesee High School musicians will perform in the Senior High All-County Festival on January 13-14 at Fayetteville-Manlius High School. The senior high group includes grades 10-12. Students are responsible for learning the music in advance, rehearsing on Friday and Saturday, then perform the concert at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

West Genesee musicians from grades 7-9 will perform in the Junior High All-County Festival at Skaneateles High School on January 27-28 after two days of rehearsals. To see a listing of students participating in both concerts click on MORE 

Sports Wrap-up for Fall 2011 Recognizes Athletes

Happy Holidays from West Genesee School District

The Administration and Board of Education of the West Genesee School District join in extending greetings and best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season. May this season be filled with peace and joy and everything that makes for happiness.

The artwork above, which was used for a card sent electronically to the staff, was designed by fourth grader Cassidi Rose Callaghan at Split Rock Elementary School. Below is artwork by High School senior Shawna Lake that was sent out to the community. Congratulations to both students for having their artwork selected.
