New York State PTA
The NYS PTA has more than 395,000 members statewide in over 1600 local units and councils in 16 districts. Members include parents, teachers, students, and other child advocates. Its mission is to maintain its commitment and service to all children and to its divers membership through increased parent and community awareness, advocacy, education, and involvement.
National PTA
The National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children.
