The West Genesee High School Library will foster the literary,
recreational, and social-emotional needs of its school community
through learning experiences and resources that exceed
expectations in physical and virtual environments; empowering
students to be creative, critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers,
skillful researchers and ethical users of information. Our library
promotes a literate community to ensure lifelong, confident
learners with the skills necessary for fulfillment and success in a

The West Genesee High School Library staff endeavors to entice
students into the magical realm of “story.” We strive to promote
an environment conducive to individual success, social emotional
wellness, fostering connections, and growth through responsible
and efficient use of information. It is our ambition to spark
