MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by President Shawn Mitchell at 6:00 p.m.

President Mitchell led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Shawn Mitchell discussed the upcoming Board Retreat to be held July 30, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. at the Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

A. Motion: Kimberly Coyne

It is recommended that the Board of Education go into Executive Session for matters of personnel (6:11 p.m.)

Second: Joseph Simon Approved 8 – 0

RETURN TO REGULAR SESSION

B. Motion: Kimberly Coynei

It is recommended that the Board of Education return to Regular Session. (6:45 p.m.)

Second: Barbara Wells Approved 8 – 0

C. Motion: Kimberly Coyne

It is recommended that the following appointment be approved:

Wayne Ackles
Executive Principal
West Genesee High School
Probationary Appointment
Certification: Permanent School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS)
Tenure Area: Executive Principal
Effective 8/26/19 through 8/25/23
Salary: $129,000 prorated
Replaces Shannon Coholan, Termination approved 3/6/19
