MONDAY, APRIL 22, 2019

MINUTES of the SPECIAL MEETING of the BOARD OF EDUCATION held April 22, 2019 at the District Office.

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by President Herron at 6:00 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

President Herron led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.

OPEN FORUM

None

FINANCIAL ACTION ITEM

A. Motion: Kimberly Coyne

It is recommended that the following resolution be approved:

WHEREAS, the Board of Cooperative Educational Services for the Sole Supervisory District of Onondaga, Cortland, and Madison Counties (the “BOCES”) duly presented its tentative 2019-2020 administrative budget of $8,229,193 at its 2019 annual meeting; and

WHEREAS, the Board desires to approve said tentative administrative budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:

FINANCIAL ACTION ITEM

A. Resolution continued:

Section 1

The BOCES’ tentative administrative budget of $8,229,193 is hereby approved.

Section 2

This Resolution shall take effect immediately.

PERSONNEL ACTION ITEM

B. Motion: Joseph Simon

It is recommended that one vote be cast for each of the following candidates for election to the Onondaga-Cortland-Madison Board of Cooperative Educational Services.

To fill the expired term of Robert Crabtree:

To fill the expired term of Mark Gilbert:

To fill the expired term of David Paczkowski:
