FINANCIAL ACTION ITEMS

A. It is recommended that a contract between the West Genesee Central School District and the Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES for the 2018-19 school year, in the amount of $22,500, representing rental of three (3) classrooms $15,000, and ancillary services $7,500, to house various BOCES special education school year programs in the district, be approved.

B. It is recommended that a contract between the West Genesee Central School District and the Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES for the 2018-19 school year (July & August), in the amount of $15,200, representing rental of twenty (20) classrooms to house various BOCES special education programs and regional summer school in the district, be approved.

C. It is recommended that the Board of Education authorize an increase in the 2017-18 general fund budget for unemployment insurance expenditures of $2,610.00 for the quarter ending June 30, 2018 to be funded by a transfer from the unemployment reserve fund.

D. It is recommended that the Transportation Contract between the Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES and the West Genesee Central School District for the 2018-19 school year, in the amount of $4,896.00, be approved as stipulated.

E. It is recommended that the 2017-18 general fund budget transfers be approved, as stipulated.

F. It is recommended that the contracts for health services between the following school district and West Genesee Central School District for the 2017-18 school year be approved:

Baldwinsville Central School District – $529.53

G. It is recommended that the Board of Education accept a donation of $107.35 from the West Genesee Music Boosters to operate the Summer Music Instructional Program, and that the 2018-19 general fund budget be amended as follows to reflect said donation:

I. It is recommended that the Board of Education enter into an agreement with Upstate Cerebral Palsy, 1020 Mary Street, Utica, New York 13501 to provide special education and/or related services for West Genesee students that may be placed in their care periodically during the 2018-19 school year, be approved as stipulated.

J. It is recommended that the Board of Education enter into a lease agreement with Onondaga Community College for the West Genesee High School Graduation ceremonies on Saturday, June 22, 2019, as stipulated
