IX. BUSINESS – ACTION AND INFORMATION ITEMS FINANCIAL ACTION ITEMS

A. It is recommended that a resolution approving the Board of Education to enter into a three (3) year agreement with Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES to provide lit fiber for high speed communications services, at an annual cost not to exceed $46,963.00, be approved, as stipulated.

B. It is recommended that the 2017-18 general fund budget transfers be approved, as stipulated.

FINANCIAL ACTION ITEMS

C. It is recommended that the contracts for health services between the following school districts and West Genesee Central School District for the 2017-18 school year be approved:

Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District – $ 7,676.50 Syracuse City School District – $12,553.11

D. It is recommended that the following tentative non-resident tuition rates be established for the 2018-19 school year:

Grades kindergarten through six $ 7,180
Grades seven through twelve $ 8,497

E. It is recommended that the stipulated agreement between the West Genesee Central School District and the Town of Camillus, regarding a Day Camp Program that will operate from June 25, 2018 through August 3, 2018, be approved.

F. It is recommended that the 2018-19 initial contract for BOCES Services, in the amount of
$7,494,130.17, be approved as stipulated.

G. It is recommended that the following bids for the 2018-2019 school year be approved:

H. It is recommended that the Board of Education accept a donation for East Hill Elementary School from the Travelers Employee Giving Campaign in the amount of $45.00, and a donation from the East Hill Elementary PTA in the amount of $1,560.00 for supplies, and it is further recommended that the 2017-18 general fund budget be amended as follows to reflect said donations:

L. It is recommended that the Board of Education hold a Special Meeting, Executive Session only, on May 22, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at the District Office for the purpose of finalizing the contract for the Superintendent of Schools.
