Inquiries About Policies

Inquiries about school board policies should be submitted to the Superintendent of schools.  Inquiries shall be in writing, stating the specific objections to the specific policy(ies).

The Superintendent shall then submit the inquiry to the Board.  The Board shall then review the policy and inquiry, amend or repeal the policy, if appropriate, and notify the party of the action taken.

Inquiries About Policies

Upon receipt of an inquiry the Superintendent will:

1.    Provide written notification to the party that the inquiry has been received.

  1. Written notification can be via letter or e-mail
  2. Date Stamp will be provided

2.    Once an inquiry has been received by the Board of Education –

  1. The party will receive written notification regarding when the inquiry will be heard in public, or executive session if applicable

3.    Upon Board of Education action/inaction regarding an inquiry –

  1. The party will receive written update and/or resolution
  2. Date stamp will be provided
