The West Genesee Varsity Basketball teams had unprecedented seasons!
Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team for winning the NYS Class AA Championship on Saturday, March 16; a first at West Genesee!
Will Amica was named the All-Tournament MVP and Lucas Sutherland was named to the All-Tournament Team. With the NYS Championship win, the team now moves on to the Federation Championship this coming weekend in Glens Falls. Great job boys!
The Girls Basketball team is the NYS Class AA Championship Runner-Up team. They competed on March 17 in their second trip to the NYS Final Four and their first time in the finals.
Madison and Mackenzie Smith were selected to the All-Tournament Team and Lily Goodsell won the Sportsmanship Award. Congratulations on a great season!
