Stonehedge Elementary School – Blue: Susan Sheehan
Susan Sheehan joined the West Genesee staff in 2015. Ms. Sheehan has ten years prior experience as an elementary school counselor in another district and at a community agency as a play therapist. She earned her Bachelor degree and her Master of Science degree in School Counseling Services from SUNY Oswego. Ms. Sheehan is also a Certified Play Therapist.
Stonehedge Elementary School – Gold: Mary Clancy
Mary Clancy joined West Genesee in 2004. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the Newhouse School and a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Syracuse University. Ms. Clancy is a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Global Career Development Facilitator.
Onondaga Road Elementary School: Barbara Randall
Barbara Randall has been an elementary ADA-PEP Counselor with the West Genesee District since 2001. Prior to coming to West Genesee she worked at Camden Central Schools for five years as an elementary school counselor. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree from SUNY Oswego in Counseling and Psychological Services.
East Hill Elementary School: Gretchen Rose
Gretchen Rose joined the West Genesee staff in 2009. Prior to joining the counseling staff, she worked for many years doing community-based counseling with children and adolescents. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University, and she earned her Master of Science degree in Community Counseling/Human Services and her Certificate of Advanced Study in Counseling Services from SUNY Oswego. Ms. Rose has also earned the credentials of National Certified Counselor and Certified Play Therapist. She is also a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Split Rock Elementary School: Lisa Dwyer
Lisa Dwyer has been in the counseling field for over 17 years, and joined West Genesee in 2006. Ms. Dwyer has a Bachelor of Science in Professional Science from SUNY Brockport and a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Syracuse University. She is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a certified Athletic Coach.
