East Hill Updated Dismissal Procedures Changes to begin on December 6, 2021

November 30, 2021

Due to changes in transportation, we will be making a change to our dismissal procedures. Please see the changes below and do not hesitate to call us at the main office with any questions or concerns.

Dismissal Procedures

We will be flipping our dismissal procedures to include car pick-ups in the loop before buses. Car pick-up dismissal will begin at 3:10 p.m. Parents can enter the loop at 3:10 p.m. when directed by a staff member. Buses will be arriving and entering the loop at 3:20 p.m. No cars will be admitted into the loop during bus pickup.

Parent pickup tags are still available. Please contact the main office for a tag if you don’t have one and would like one.

Car pick-up tags– Each family can get two car tags with the same number. Students will be provided with a backpack tag with the corresponding number. School staff will be able to easily identify the correct car in the pickup line outside of school. If a parent is designating someone else to pick up a child on a particular day, it will be up to the parent to make sure they provide that person with the pickup tag. Again, parents must stay in their car at all times unless, of course, it is necessary for you to help a child get out of their carseat. Students should enter and exit the vehicle on the passenger side.

We truly appreciate your support with this change and following our arrival and dismissal procedures to keep all students and staff safe. Please do not hesitate to contact the main office at 315-487-4648 with any questions.

This dismissal change will begin on  December 6, 2021
