2018 Junior High All County Transportation letter UPDATED


Dear All-County parents and students,

Please note that the students do not have school on Friday, January 26. Please drop off your child at WG High School by 2:30 p.m. All buses will depart from the new circle of the HS.

I would like to congratulate you on your child’s acceptance into the Junior High All-County Music Festival held January 26 and 27 at Eagle Hill Middle School (F-M). This is truly an accomplishment to be proud of! Please refer to specific festival information in your child’s All-County music packet about dress for the concert, meals and the festival schedule.

West Genesee will provide transportation for your child to and from the event on Friday, and to the event on Saturday. Parents, please note that you will be responsible for transportation home from the concert on Saturday. Our bus will pick up students at WGHS on Friday afternoon and will return to West Genesee High School west (Applebees) circle on Friday evening. Bus departure Saturday morning is from the same circle. The departure and
arrival schedule for both days are as follows:

Friday, January 26 – Attendance will be taken by music teachers at the high school.
2:30 p.m.: WGHS Pickup for all CMS, WGMS, and WGHS students (West Entrance)
3:15 p.m.: Arrive at Eagle Hill MS
3:30-8:30p.m.: Rehearsals at Eagle Hill MS
8:30 p.m.: All-County students board bus (leave large instruments at
Eagle Hill MS overnight)
9:00 p.m.: Bus returns to West Genesee High School-West Entrance (Applebees side of building). Please be waiting for your child. The HS will not be open for student access.

Saturday, January 27
8:15 a.m.: Bus pickup of all students at WGHS West Entrance (Applebees side of buildings) BRING OR WEAR YOUR CONCERT CLOTHING ON THE BUS!
9:00 a.m.: All-County Rehearsals begin
3:00 p.m.: All-County Concert – Admission is charged
