Dear Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,
The COVID-19 health emergency has been part of our everyday lives for the better part of two years. Throughout that time, there have been different predominate components that have included personal protective equipment, testing, mandated quarantines, and more recently vaccinations. West Genesee remains committed to the safety of our students, families, and staff as the circumstances evolve.
As you know, Pfizer vaccine may soon be approved for children aged 5-11 years. To ensure an effective and efficient pediatric vaccination roll-out, the Onondaga County Health Department would like to gather information from parents with children in this age group.
Below, please find a survey link for Onondaga County to assess the likely demand for vaccinations among those parents of children ages 5-11 years. There are no details to provide at this point as this is information gathering only. Your response is not a registration or commitment.
You will see in the survey that parents or guardians are required to be present for their child’s vaccination. The survey will collect information regarding preferences of time, location, and resources that will help OCHD to further partner with schools in our area. West Genesee is committed to providing space, time, and available resources to assist in this important effort for our children and families.
The survey will close on Thursday, October 28. The link is:

Thank you for your continued efforts during this ongoing difficult time. Our #WGStrongerTogether is also true of our partnerships with OCHD and surrounding communities.
Sincerely,
