Graduation Info/Livestream Link-Letter to Students/Parents/Guardians of Class of 2020

UPDATE at Noon- Please Note: at this point in time, WG Graduation is running about 1 hour behind. Please plan on this when heading over for your time slot. We have to hold cars for a brief period soon to give our staff a chance to hydrate and get back out there. What a gorgeous day to celebrate our Wildcats! 💙

Dear Students, Parents, Guardians, and Friends of the Class of 2020,

Our ceremony is just a few days away, and we thought it was important to send some last minute reminders about the event. The ceremony begins at 8 am on Saturday, June 20 and is organized by alphabetical splits. Please review the letter that we previously sent about graduation to confirm your time slot. Here are other general reminders:

  • Please be prompt in order to keep the ceremony running smoothly.
  • Saturday’s weather forecast looks hot and humid, so please stay hydrated.
  • Please assist us in keeping traffic flowing once in line and be patient while proceeding. Graduates should ride on the passenger side of the vehicle so they can exit directly onto the sidewalk.
  • Inclement weather may cause a delay to the ceremony, and we will resume as soon as it is safe to continue.
  • If anyone is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms outlined in the link, please do not attend graduation.
  • Students will wear their caps, gowns, and masks. Tassels will be on the right due to the professional picture and moved to the left, when prompted, to signify graduating.
  • This year, students may decorate their caps as long as they are school appropriate.
  • Two photos will be taken of your graduate by Genesee Photo Systems, one receiving their diploma and one upon exiting the stage. The link to these photos will be sent in the two weeks following graduation.
  • Family photos will also be taken after your senior graduates and are our gift to you. These folders will be shared with you via email within one week after graduation.

**Check the Senior Bulletin page to watch the Ceremony and the Senior Video prior to Graduation! The video will be available on Friday after our Seniors and families see it first at the NYS Fairgrounds Orange Lot Drive-In Event**
