Hello WGMS Families!
First, I would like to wish you all very Happy and Safe Thanksgiving! I also want to thank you for your patience as I know you have been anticipating details regarding dismissal and arrival for our new time schedule beginning December 6th. Let me start by clarifying that 1st period will begin at 7:50. Students will be released from the busses at approximately 7:40 (bus students getting breakfast will be released earlier) with homeroom beginning at 7:45. Early student drop off will begin at 7:15 am in the front circle until the first bus arrives at approximately 7:25-7:30. At this point, student drop off will move to the north sidewalk between WGMS and Stonehedge. (See Diagram) Please use the front loop of Stonehedge to access the sidewalk. Officer Skardinski will be there for direction. There will NO longer be student drop off in the back of WGMS in the morning. Dismissal will run similar to what we have been doing. Dismissal will begin at 2:15 with parent pick up in the back of the building. If you will be picking up on a regular basis, you will be required to have a tag.
