To Parents/Guardians of WG High School Students,
Earlier today, the District was notified by the Onondaga County Health Department that a West Genesee High School student tested positive for COVID-19 Coronavirus. The District immediately began supporting the OCHD contact tracing investigation process.
The student has not been in attendance in the previous fourteen days and is currently in isolation. At the consultation of the investigation, health officials determined that no students or staff are required to quarantine as a result of school contact.
All other students and staff will continue their normal schedule including that of in-person learning.
