On May 29, forty-five West Genesee and Camillus Middle School students spent the morning weeding and mulching the Clyde Ohl Exercise Trail at the Camillus Erie Canal Park.
The students worked with the Camillus Solvay Geddes Rotary Club to complete this service project. The Rotary Club sponsors Interact Clubs in each of our middle schools. These clubs, like their Rotarian sponsors place service to community and the world foremost in their actions.
As a special treat, the trail’s namesake and retired West Genesee High School Principal, Clyde Ohl was present to meet and greet the students.
Many thanks go out to the Student Council advisors, Tim Moser, Carmen Primiano, Kathy Lykudis, and Mark McPeak for organizing the day.
