Summer Reading List for Students Entering Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade

Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade

Printable Version of WGIS Summer Reading List for Students Entering Fifth and Entering Sixth Grade

Reading over the summer months is fun and also helps to keep your child ready for school in September. The list of books is only a suggested list to encourage reading throughout the summer. There are no assignments connected to summer reading. Feel free to pick a book from either grade level list based on your child’s interest.  Also, reading together as a family is a great experience and highly encouraged. All of the local libraries can be a terrific resource.
