School Meals for ALL Learners
Your child(ren) has/have been identified as attending school in person either two (2) or five (5) days a week. If you are attending school only two (2) days a week, please also read and complete the form in the link provided in the “School Meals for Remote Learners” portion of this article.
Your IN SCHOOL meal program will function very similar to previous years with two exceptions. First, all school meals will need to be preordered, which will be discussed below. Second, all students will be eating meals in their classrooms, with preordered meals being delivered to their rooms. (Note: All meal prices remain the same as last year: Breakfast K-12 is $1.75; Elementary Lunch is $2.70; Middle and High School Lunch is $2.85)
As always, we are participating in the national free and reduced price meal program. All application materials can be found here.
As indicated above, all meals this year are required to be preordered through our westgenesee.nutrislice.com menu page or by downloading the Nutrislice App on your phone. There will be instructional videos on our website to assist you in getting your account established. Once your orders are placed, they will be billed to your child’s MySchoolBucks account once the day of service has passed. This will allow us to process any cancellations properly. If there is not sufficient funds available on the account at the time of the order, we will contact you by phone and automated messages to remind you to fund the account.
Pre-Order Timing Guidance
All Preorders must be completed twenty-four (24) hours in advance.
(i.e.: 7 a.m. Breakfast for 9/10 must be ordered by 7 a.m. on 9/9)
(i.e.: 11 a.m. lunch on 9/10 must be ordered by 11 a.m. on 9/9)
You can also order meals by the week or month. There is a cancellation feature by 6 a.m. on the day of service.

School Meals for Remote Learners
Your child(ren) has/have been identified as being remote learners either for partial or full weeks. As you may be aware, your child(ren) is/are eligible to participate in the school meal programs while studying remotely at home. The pricing of meals will mirror that of those sold in schools. The one difference is that meals will be sold in bundles, versus daily purchases. This is to accommodate the parent pick up, or in necessary cases, delivery of meals. The bundles and associated costs are as follows:
Monday to Friday – 5 day Remote Learners
5 day Breakfast Bundle = $8.75 ($1.75 x 5 days)
5 day Elementary Lunch Bundle = $13.50 ($2.70 x 5)
5 day Middle or High School Lunch Bundle = $14.25 ($2.85 x 5)
Monday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Friday – 3 day Remote Learners
3 day Breakfast Bundle = $5.25 ($1.75 x 3 days)
3 day Elementary Lunch Bundle = $8.10 ($2.70 x 3)
3 day Middle or High School Lunch Bundle = $8.55 ($2.85 x 3) *Amount is different than previously published; this is the correct amount

This preordering requirement is necessary to facilitate package preparation for parent pick up, or in necessary cases, delivery of meals. We will establish parent pick up times and locations once the quantity of orders is determined.
