Residents who are at least age 65 and/or who are disabled may be eligible for a partial exemption on their school property taxes if they meet certain qualifications. At the regular meeting on February 1, 2023, the Board of Education approved this exemption at the same level as the previous year.
Also approved at the meeting was an exemption for volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers as well as an exemption for Veterans, both at the same level as the previous year.
