The Business Department has selected senior Marc Gillette as the March Business Student of the Month. Marc is a bright, hard-working student who is finishing his Career & Technical Education endorsement in the Business Administration area this year. He has taken many business classes including Career & Financial Management, College & Career Readiness, Personal Finance, Business Law, and Principles of Marketing. He is currently taking Financial Accounting and Access & Excel. Marc also balances his school work while participating in other activities including Track & Field, Business Club, FBLA, and National Honor Society. He also works for the Syracuse Mets and is planning to major in Sports Management in college next year. He will be attending SUNY Cortland. Congratulations, Marc!!
The Business Department has selected Senior Noah Uczen as the February Business Student of the Month. Noah is a very good student who has taken many business classes including Marketing, Management, Word Processing, Career & College Readiness, Career & Financial Management, Introduction to Business, and Personal Finance. He is pursuing his Career & Technical Education Endorsement in Business Administration. He is a hard working student, who manages his time between his course work and his outside obligations. He is an Eagle Scout, a Black Belt, is in Order of the Arrow and National Honor Society, and is a confirmation volunteer at his church. Congratulations, Noah!
The Business Department has selected Senior Alona Ososkalo as the January Business Student of the Month. Alona is a very good business student, who has taken many courses including Word Processing, Career & College Readiness, Career and Financial Management, and Personal Finance. She is also currently taking Financial Accounting. She is the president of Business Club and also works at Panera Bread. Her positive attitude and excellent work ethic will ensure that she is a successful business person. She is planning to major in accounting at LeMoyne College next year! Way to go, Alona!!
The Business Department has selected senior Maxsim Mekker for the December Student of the Month. Max is an excellent student. He has taken many business courses including Business Management, Career and Financial Management, and Career and College Readiness. He is also keeping busy during his senior year with Financial Accounting, Personal Finance, Wall Street, and Access, and Excel.
Max plays basketball for Holy Family, is on the West Genesee Tennis team, participates in Business Club, is a member of Business & Marketing Honor Society, and created Second Take Sports Club at the high school. Max also works at Bellevue Country Club.
Max has an excellent work ethic, is always upbeat and positive, and is a genuinely nice young man. He plans to major in accounting in college next year. Congratulations, Max!
The Business Department has selected Senior Ty Lisi as the November Business Student of the Month. Ty is a fabulous young man, who does excellent quality work and is always a pleasure to have in class. Ty has taken Information Systems, Personal Finance, Business, Law, Career and College Readiness and is currently taking Business Management and CFM.
Ty is also very active outside of the classroom. He is a member of the high school marching band drumline and plays varsity tennis. He also works part time at PacSun. Ty is planning to major in business management/human resources next year in college.
He stated that his business classes have allowed him to learn skills that can be applied in other areas of his life. Congratulations, Ty!
The Business Department has selected senior Alyssa Garofalo as the October Business Student of the Month.
Alyssa has taken many business courses including Career & Financial Management, Career & College Readiness, Principles of Marketing, and Business Management. She is currently taking Financial Accounting, Let’s Get Down to Business, Business Law and Personal Finance. Alyssa is an excellent student – she works diligently on all assignments and is an active participant in her classes.
She is pursuing a Career and Technical Education Endorsement in the Business Administration area and plans to major in marketing in college next year. She hasn’t decided on a college at this time. She also is a junior coach for CNY Storm All Star Cheer, and cheers for the CNY Storm World’s Team Warning. Congratulations, Alyssa!!
