The West Genesee PTA/PTO District Council is once again sponsoring a School Supply Drive. The purpose is to provide free school supplies for students in need of assistance who attend any school in the West Genesee School District. Last year the program helped well over 150 families and anticipate the need to be much the same this fall.
Supply Collections
Boxes, labeled WGSD School Supply and decorated in blue and gold, will be placed all over the Camillus community including:
St. Josephs Church, Christ Community Church, Fairmont Community Church, and Staples on Milton Ave.
Note: This year Staples has generously offered to feature a “Stuff the Bus” event in the upcoming Teacher Appreciation Weekend, August 17-18 for students in the West Genesee Central School District. Be on the lookout for one of our buses in the parking lot that weekend!
Some of the most needed items include: loose leaf paper, blue/black/red pens, highlighters, dry erase markers, pencil cases/boxes. The greatest need is for backpacks.

Every effort will be made to fulfill your child’s list, but supplies are limited. First priority given to those students whose information we have received in advance. We appreciate the commitment of the Camillus community in making this drive successful!
Supplies Distribution
The West Genesee District Council PTA/PTO will again distribute school supplies for West Genesee families in need.
WHEN: Saturday, August 24, 2019 10 a.m. – noon
WHERE: West Genesee Middle School, 500 Sanderson Drive
