Colton Kehrer is proud to show his $1,250 donation check to the MDA with the support of Deb Donaghue and Natalie Briggs standing behind him.

WGMS 6th grade student Colton Kehrer organized a Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day and fundraiser at WGMS that took place on March 2. He raised $1,250 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

He designed a shirt and bracelet, sold them and donated the profits to the MDA. He shared a video about Muscular Dystrophy and the teachers incorporated this into the Second Steps teaching program. He also designed a coloring page that was used in a coloring contest that his fellow students participated in. A great job was done by Colton and all his peers that helped by donating money and purchasing t-shirts.
