Sixteen West Genesee High School seniors successfully completed the requirements of the West Genesee Odyssey Program this year. This program is designed to encourage, then recognize, students who complete a rich, rigorous, and well-rounded college-level educational experience while still in high school.
Students receiving recognition have completed six college-level credits in the core areas of study and four credits in supplemental coursework, and have participated in a wide variety of community service experiences as well as extra-curricular activities over the course of their four years at the high school. Odyssey students spend the year researching a topic of interest, then creating a solution-based presentation before a panel of administrators, teachers, and peers.
This year’s Odyssey students are: Kayleigh Adams, Giovanni Capria, Ashley Foss, Lena Kent, Mia Kessler, Claire Lauricella, Lillian Lesperance, Taylor MacCaull, Trevin MacCaull, Alaina Munson, Ethan Neves, Lily Pellegrino, Thalia Petrie, Katherine Reed, Adeline Sindone, and Grace Yeager.
