This Wednesday, October 2, at St. Joseph Church from 11am-6pm Doug's Fish Fry will be selling food with the proceeds to benefit the class of 2026.

Morgan’s Message hosted Chalk the Walk, an annual event sponsored by the Onondaga County Suicide Prevention Coalition (OCSPC), for all students and staff at WGHS on Friday, September 27.
This important campaign takes place during National Suicide Prevention Month and encourages students and staff to create uplifting chalk messages and images that promote mental health and suicide prevention.

The West Genesee Wildcat Marching Band will host their annual Tournament of Bands TOMORROW Saturday, September 28, 2024 with bands from:

West Genesee (will perform in exhibition)
The show will be held in our Turf Field Stadium and will begin at 6:00 p.m. #CarnEVIL

Commended Student is Announced!
Congratulations to West Genesee High School senior Evan Powers who has been named a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.


The last day to order the high school yearbook is Friday, September 27. The cost is $60.00. No orders are taken nor is any money collected at school. All orders must be placed online at ybpay.lifetouch.com using code 12506825.

Thank you to the West Genesee PTA/PTO District Council and our generous community for their contributions to the 2024 School Supply Drive. Those donations helped provide school supplies to over 145 West Genesee students.
A special thank you to their partners, Fairmount Fire Department for their donation of over 60 backpacks, Walmart Supercenter in Camillus and the Camillus, Geddes, Solvay Rotary Club for donating supplies.
