Seventy-seven students and recent graduates of West Genesee High School have been named Advanced Placement Scholars by The College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations. Several levels of achievement are recognized based on the number of year-long courses and examinations (or their equivalent semester-long courses and examinations).
Ten students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Examinations taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these examinations. They are graduates Ava Amodio, Ella Boyer, Devin Dantuono, Rebecca Dickey, Max Leubner, Evan Powers, Rowan Prior, Dante Santiago, Isabella Vallely, and Zakaria Zagha.
Thirty-five students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honors Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Examinations taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these examinations. Seniors who qualified are Jessica Abert, Noah Adams, Giovanni Capria, Madison Cook, Jack Dotzler, Georgia Dziedzic, Chloe Fietze, Ashley Foss, Annalin Hyatt, Lena Kent, Quinn Kilbury, Lillian Lesperance, Layla MacArthur, Taylor MacCaull, Trevin MacCaull, William Madden, Majda Miljkovic, Alaina Munson, Ethan Neves, Lily Pellegrino, Thalia Petrie, Katherine Reed, Adeline Sindone, Kaelyn Stone, and Liam Walsh; and graduates Sean Dunning, Norah Emery, Jonathan Gage, Abigail Marchesani, Logan Meier, Kylie Murphy, Chad Smith, Ava Stojanovski, Audra Vine, and Alyssa Winters also received this recognition.
