The West Genesee Central School District Board of Education and Administration extends its deepest gratitude to every community member who headed to the polls yesterday.
We saw a high volume of voters exercise their right to participate in our Capital Improvement Project proposal. Beyond the ballots cast, the level of engagement our residents showed was outstanding—actively researching the plans, asking tough questions, and discussing the future of our facilities.
Whether you voted in favor or against the proposal, your participation represents a profound level of care for our schools and our community. Despite the long lines, the cool temperatures, and the late evening, our voters remained steadfast. That unwavering commitment to showing up is exactly what it means to be a Wildcat.
We recognize that the needs of our buildings and the concerns of our taxpayers remain central to our mission. The District will continue to diligently problem-solve the issues presented in this proposal as we move forward, ensuring we provide the best possible environment for our students while remaining responsible stewards of community resources.
Sincerely,
West Genesee CSD Board of Education and David C. Bills, Superintendent of Schools
