Fifty-nine students and recent graduates of West Genesee High School have been named Advanced Placement Scholars by The College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations. Several levels of achievement are recognized based on the number of year-long courses and examinations (or their equivalent semester-long courses and examinations).
Twenty students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Examinations taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these examinations. They are Jad Abdelqader, Jessica Abert, Molly Abert, Giovanni Capria, Madison Cook, Michael Creedon, Jack Dotzler, Nadia Farino, Quinn Kilbury, Lillian Lesperance, Lucas Long, Layla MacArthur, Taylor MacCaull, Keira McGlaughlin, Alaina Munson, Alexander Neuman, Lily Pellegrino, Thalia Petrie, Katherine Reed, and Kaelyn Stone.
Fifteen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honors Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Examinations taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these examinations. They are Noah Adams, Clyde Allen, Anthony Barba, Aedan Carlton, Elizabeth Dunham, Kasson Emery, Eve Furze, Sabeeh Islam, Claire Lauricella, Maeve Lepak, Keira McHugh, Madeline Owczarzak, Immanuel Perez, Sophia Ruston, and Harrison Walker.
Twenty-four students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by receiving grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP Examinations. They are Harrison Card, Sarai Card, Vincent D'Angelo, Sarah Domin, Howard Felt, Natalia Fiacchi, Ethan Gage, Daniella Jensen, Owen Johnson, Luke Lockwood, Benjamin Lynch, Nic Lynch, Trevin MacCaull, Rachel Palmer, Oliver Rufa, Evelyn Shanahan, Adeline Sindone, Lucas Strain, Dominic Talucci, Olivia Tarolli, Claire Thomas, Mckenna Vallely, Amelia Vezey, and Zella White.
