West Genesee PTA/PTO District Council is Hosting a Coat Drive!
The District Council is having a coat drive the month of October. On November 2, 2024 there will be a "shopping" event for West Genesee families who need winter gear.

East Hill Safety Patrols
The East Hill Safety Patrol Program has begun! Any 4th grade student that was interested in this leadership role applied by completing an application. Officer Clarke trained the first squad of the patrols that will be serving for the month of October. The next squad will begin in November as many students are excited for this opportunity!

Watch for buses starting this week in ALL area communities! When you see flashing lights, please STOP for buses in both directions. Watch your speed in school zones too! And plan on a little more time to get where you need to go in case you encounter a bus on its route. Help us get the word out!

Thank you to the West Genesee PTA/PTO District Council and our generous community for their contributions to the 2024 School Supply Drive. Those donations helped provide school supplies to over 145 West Genesee students.
A special thank you to their partners, Fairmount Fire Department for their donation of over 60 backpacks, Walmart Supercenter in Camillus and the Camillus, Geddes, Solvay Rotary Club for donating supplies.
The District Council is committed to supporting any student in need of supplies. Parents, guardians, and teachers can contact them for assistance (all requests are confidential) at westgennydistrictcouncil@gmail.com.
On Wednesday, August 21, 2024 you will receive an email from DoNotReplySchoolTool@westgenesee.org. This message will give parents, guardians and caregivers access to Schooltool our student management system (SMS). If you do not receive this email by August 22, 2024, please email your child(ren)s building and they will activate your account. Please be looking for future communication to help with how to access information in Schooltool.
