The WG PTA/PTO District Council will be collecting gently used winter gear for West Genesee families in need. Drop off your coats, snow pants, hats, gloves and boots in the blue bins located at all schools within the district. Each year, WG schools rotate exhibits of student artwork at the Maxwell Memorial Library. This is a long standing and deeply valuable collaboration for the fine arts department, teachers, students, and community. Check out this image to see whats schools are exhibiting next!
East Hill fourth grade students performed a science investigation this week called Light it Up. The students had to build closed circuits and make light bulbs light while problem solving and answering questions.
We had support from our District Math and Science Coach, Mrs. Jessica Fisher, and our retired assistant superintendent, Mr. Brian Kesel!
