West Genesee residents approved the 2026-2027 Budget on May 19, 2026. The $124,640,000 (one hundred twenty-four million six hundred forty thousand dollars) budget received 2,287 favorable votes and 902 votes in opposition.
The proposition (#1) for Transportation received 2,175 favorable votes and 1,008 votes in opposition.
The propositions (#2, #3, and #4) that would provide funding for three area libraries (Fairmount Community, Maxwell Memorial, and Onondaga Free) were put to a vote. The proposition for Fairmount Community Library received 2,446 favorable votes and 728 votes in opposition; the proposition for Maxwell Memorial Library received 2,463 favorable votes and 711 votes in opposition; and the proposition for Onondaga Free Library received 2,371 favorable votes and 805 votes in opposition.

The candidates for the Board of Education received the following votes: Camille M. Morano-2,235; Kathryne A. Moulton-2,205; and Jeffrey M. Reina-2,250.
